Yes, what a difference a year makes. Way better weather but I did miss the champagne toast to 2DD's birthday that we had last year. Here's some panos:

This was a fantastic hike. Chris - thanks for hanging around at the trailhead for the second wave. Alti-Pair, for labelling all 19 TNABs in the summit shot.
This 4-shot panorama of the summit while Jeremy was directing the first group shot turned out well (large version here)

Positively perfect pic of Putrid Pete's Peak, Puzzlr!
I was pleased with the warm temps as they allowed us to stay for an extended time on the summit. Very slight breeze. Summer is coming! A few more pics.
TNAB target - Putrid Pete's Peak Kona and Run4cache Successful summit smile and warm temperatures Spider Lake 7 labels Kaleetan, et al. "impossible to label all" ;-) Something is higher than Rainier Stay on ridge, then go down steep hill! Steep descent Black gold Goodnight, Rainier

puzzlr - thanks for sacrificing your spot in one of the group photos for the unique image of TNAB atop P^3
Yukon - I was trying for the same result as Black gold, didn't happen. As usual, your photos have vivid colors and composition, accurately capturing some of the experience in Steep descent and Goodnight, Rainier, or even enhancing, as in Kaleetan.

Wow, that's a big group. What would poo poo poo (the other p^3) say? Seriously though, something to consider for subsequent destinations like the Ramparts which I believe will be in wilderness.

Yep, that's a lot of people, and Mark and I weren't even there!
There really is no way to tell who or how many will show up on any given Thursday night. People do break up in smaller numbers depending on speed and ability. I am usually bringing up the rear, mostly my own.
