Wow! This place is beyond my capabilities, but you certainly are letting us live it vicariously through this excellent report!

May your trails be crooked, winding, lonesome, dangerous, leading to the most amazing view.--E.Abbey

Don't forget fish catchin'. Tisha just woke up from sleeping for two straight days (she only gained 28,500' last week - that's as tall as Everest!) and might be posting some of pictures by the end of the night. I had a sneak preview and though they pale in comparison to my panos wink.gif you're all in for a real treat.

Excellent narative! Sounds like a great trip was had by all. Too bad you missed out on Dragontail. I'm pretty sure it would have stolen the best summit award. Pretty incredible view. Ah, reason to go back to be sure! up.gif

Remember, epic is what you make it. wink.gif Ever since our last Enchantments trip in 2002, I've really been looking forward to exploring this area more thoroughly. Thank you to MLHSN for helping me to fulfill this wish! Since I seem to have some sort of over compulsive disorder with my shutter trigger finger, it took me far too long to sort through the numerous pictures. Here are my absolute favorites, but there are plenty more in the flickr sets linked below each day for your viewing pleasure. DAY 1:

Tish has got it all; peak bagger, lake bagger, fisherwoman, photographess. A fine addition to the blonde population. What a broad!up.gif

I agree. Some of your best photographs for me, and not just because the subject matter is gorgeous. (And before you even think it, no, I am not talking about "Blue Steel"!)
