I am going to be doing the traverse with a possible side trip up Little Annapurna, depending on how we feel. Did you feel that an ice axe was needed at any time? I am completely comfortable on steep snow slopes with poles. We are doing it in a day and I don't want to carry anything I don't have to.

You won't need an ice axe for the 'Purna. Poles are fine.

The name should be changed to "Other World Basin", because that's where you folks belong. You inhabit another universe. What you all toss off in a long weekend is a lifetime of achievement for some of us.
As I struggle to get a mile to Big Four or a quarter of a mile to Rachor Falls, I begin to think that Matt and Karen may have the right of it, after all.
Awesome trip, folks. Fabulous photography. ........ And you still had time to stop and fish!
Something lost behind the ranges. Lost and waiting for you....... Go and find it. Go!

Wow! Look at all the eye candy. Even though it hasn't been all that long since I've been to the Enchantments, these pictures make me realize that it has been too long.
To you, is it movement or is it action, is it contact or just reaction, and you, revolution or just resistance, is this living or just existance? Yeah you, it takes a little more persistence to get up and go the distance.

.....leaving me wanting to return over and over in what ever capacity that may be, even if one day my knees are too old and I can only see the mountains from my porch.
