Ahhh-mazzzzzing! How do you have the energy to write trip reports between your epics? And toss in creativity and humor, too? I'm beginning to suspect magic is at play here! Great TR, even better pics, fantastic accomplishment all ~Jo

Just want to add another "fantastic photos and enjoyable writing" on the pile -- wholly deserved, mind you. I've always wondered why people suffer the agonies of climbing. The views in those photos tell the whole story.

This would have been a GREAT trip IF: I hadn't already been on the summit of Clark in the fog.. It wasn't freeeezing all weekend... I hadn't gotten a painful scratch on my eyeball one hour into a 16 hour day... Oh well, it was still nice to be out in the mountains with my friends. They are great for huddling together with to keep hypothermia at bay winksmile.gif Luahna was a new summit for me, Yay! I think I took one picture before I was struck partially blind, so enjoy the pics Matt, Dude, Babe, and Yukon posted above.
So, how was the one-and-only gulley without snow? Too bad on the fog, but great job, nonetheless! BTW - making plans to be on Colchuck in '09 biggrin.gif

Cheers, Mesahchie Mark

That is what I'm talking about! Thank you for thoroughly photographing the trip. Even with the cold & fog, you've shared a small helping of bliss.

I added the route maps that previously were missing at the top of the original report.
