RAZ -- yeah ... good .. but i agree .. you need to go a lot lighter on the sepia as you're loosing the contrast which always makes it interesting with b & w .. at least imo smile.gif RDE .. i esp like brad pondering .. i think your choice of b & w for this one is spot right on

The rock and ice of Rainier close up seemed more interesting in B&W...

Silence, I really like the Rock & Ice shot. Here are a few from up around Vesper & Sperry this weekend.

wow jd .. way to get out there .. i'm jealous having wasted away the last few days .. i really love them .. esp the slope .. there's a certain .. je n'est cest quoi about it .. the blend of vintage and texture and contrast here's one i shot of baker last year ... though it's not technically b & w .. i think i might loose something if i changed it over???

Thanks a lot, silence. It was worth it getting up at 04:00 for an uncluttered, low-tide, foggy beach. It was a great atmosphere.

Silence, I agree that Mt. Baker shot needs the blue ice to make it - very nice abstract. Did you shoot it from the air?

Just playin' around with an old photo and B&W
Just playin' around with an old photo and B&W

Long since I've been amongst majestic peaks nor side mirrored lakes where awe so speaks. Blanketed valleys the dawn awakes and blinking stars to fade. My soul is called to see these things, the Hand of God has made.
