This is the second part of our trip, TR of the first part (Grand Teton NP) is here https://www.nwhikers.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7970159
We spent 9/1 driving from the Tetons up through Yellowstone and made it up to Missoula a little past midnight
We did a quick car tour of Yellowstone, some pictures below
The next day we drove from Missoula to Big Fork and did a hike in the Jewel Basin area, south of Glacier NP.

9/3 - Gunsight Lake - 12 some miles RT
This trail goes downhill first and then just a bit of uphill before the lake. Gunsight Lake is beautiful, but we didn't have nice weather on this hike

9/8 - Piegan Pass - 9 some miles RT
Hmmm.... we wanted to do the one-way hike from the Sun Road TH at Siyeh Bend to Many Glacier Hotel, but the park shuttles are done for the season so we couldn't I didn't want to thumb it back all the way from the Hotel, that is far! So we did an out-and-back, which turned out nice also. The last 2 miles of this trail leading up to the Pass is really scenic! We hiked up to the Pass and went on a bit further and looked down into the Many Glacier valley complex, excellent views!
This hike can be combined with Siyeh Pass - adds 4 miles to the total distance.
