Took me a sec to get it, but I love the allusion. up.gif Looks like you had a nice day up there.

Lots of good pictures here, but I can't take my eyes off of the solar ripples. I plan to get up there someday. up.gif

Nice pictures! I haven't seen the monuement... --->

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

My theory is the SAR folks got weary of rescuing people hence the yellow dots. Last time I did this the area was mostly snowed in so I am enjoying your pics showing the area minus most of the snow.

DHM, The allusion must be working as the area had no evidence of Human activities or presences. SW, Glad you enjoyed the "Solar Ripples" shot. When you go you will not be disappointed. Enjoy! touron, LB, CJ, & Joey, I hear those monuments are being found all over the planet. Glad you enjoyed the images! seawallrunner, Thanks! The "Rock Face Reflection" image was created by using the rectangular marquee tool, copied, then flipped horizontally, then alined as a mirror image, then I erased the areas I wanted gone, then flatten the image. MLH, Thanks! If I told you, I'd have to...well I'll leave that to your imagination. Expect a PM.

yellow dots
We used to visit here frequently, but when the area began to show signs of careless use, we stopped going and haven't been back in quite some time. It was a pleasure to "revisit" this place through your photos. Thank you.

yellow dots
Lets connect the yellow dots, or is it yellow paw prints.....anyone who has been here will know what I mean. So many clues in the picture to give it away. But I will never tell. LOL

I've been meaning to get up there to camp for the last couple summers, gotta go this fall. Here are some shots from one of my best ski days on Pilchuck two springs ago when we did the traverse (and back) after work one night.

Sorry all the pix are so small, can't link to full size in Panoramio anymore, which may keep me from using them. Here is a link to the panorama, but you have to click on the picture to see the full size version in all it's glory.

Jim, looks like panoramio may be blocking remote linking now? I get a "forbidden" when I click on the following link. You may have to link to the page instead of the picture. http://www.panoramio.com/photos/original/2231403.jpg
