These are from last week but I thought some photos without rain would be some nice eye candy. Left the car at about 3 for dinner at the lookout & a spectacular sunset & moonrise just before the weather moved in.

Very tasty, Randy, especially in light of the cold, wet runup ...... to the last day of summer. huh.gif Is that lookout open? It looked awfully clean and barren for one that gets used.

Something lost behind the ranges. Lost and waiting for you....... Go and find it. Go!

It's all locked up, just like the Fremont lookout. I don't think it's used very often, but the Park Service keeps it maintained. I can't believe this weather - snow down to 4000 ft tonight. I expected at least a couple of more weeks like this trip. Oh well, I guess it's time to tune up the skis.

So pretty! I want to get up to Tolmie Peak again soon. It's a special hike for me since my Dad took me and my daughter there on her first real hike. Your sunset photos are really lovely. Thanks for sharing.
