Wouldn't you know it, Rich finally brings his aussies and Rowena isn't there to officially initiate (bite) them. Sorry we missed it - looking forward to next year!

There was some serious posing going on in that pic, which is probably why it did not turn out... wink.gif I couldn't agree with you more that it hardly seems possible that the TNAB season is over already. I really had a lot of fun - met so many great people, many of whom I'm sure I'll be hiking with for years to come. BIG thanks to Mark for organizing! That has to get tiring as the year wears on but you would never know but your always great attitude.

Here my video from the summit Mt. Catherine a couple of minutes before the others came up. Mt. Catherine Panorama

YouTube | SummitPost Saw the depths of despair. Now I am salvaging what time I have left on Earth.

What a bummer to have to end the season. Perhaps a lunatic hike or two will surface this winter. Eight last year, and only four this year.

Do tell, what is a lunatic hike? I heard it mentioned at Pour House but had one too many drags off the 'gatorade' bottle & can't remember...

Lunatique Hikes are evening hikes under a cloudless skies and a full(ish) moon. up.gif

Are there...uhhmm...were-persons (wolves) involved? EDIT: after reading the above TR I'm much more frightened by crampons in the dark...

Jo- As long as the crampons are wearing their little headlamps, there is no reason to be scared of them in the dark. Sorry we missed it, but at the time I thought my weekend trip was Friday-Saturday instead of Saturday-Sunday. Made it to 3 TNAB's this year, a 0% increase from the 3 TNAB's last year. What 3 will I go on in 2009? hmmm.gif

Knows literally nothing
