A couple of hikes on the Back Court 100 List.
Bentrim Hill - #72 on the BC 100 list:
I have no idea where the name Bentrim came from... perhaps a "bent rim" on a wheel while trying to drive to the top.
Trailhead access - from Swauk Pass... drive FS9716 for 3.7 miles... turn left and drive FS9712 for 1.5 miles... turn right and drive FS35 for 50 yards... turn left and drive FS3530 for 6 miles... parking when the road gets very rough... there is no signage at the parking area, however there is a turnout on the road where you can park.
Hike on the very rough road for ~50 yards... take the right fork in the road, hike ~50 yards and find the unsigned trail (it is really a continuation of the Howard Creek trail #1372)... turn left on this unsigned trail and hike ~1 mile to a signed junction with the Old Ellensburg trail (#1373)... hike 1373 for ~1.5 miles until you reach a forest service road... turn left and follow the road up to the top of Bentrim Hill (6078').
Closeup views of Mission Ridge and distant views of Mt. Rainier and the Stuart Range... 5.5 miles roundtrip, gaining 1671 feet of elevation.

Roughhouse Mtn - #94 on the BC 100 list:
From Old Blewett Pass... drive the dirt road on the west side of the pass for ~1 mile... park and continue hiking on the road for .25 miles... leave the road when you are ready and hike up to the top of Roughhouse Mtn (4760+) where you will find a rough house.
Nice views of Jester Mtn, Miller Peak, Three Brothers, Iron Mtn and Serpentine Hill... distant views of the Stuart Range.
1 mile roundtrip, gaining 254 feet of elevation.
