A beautiful day in the Teanaway area... crisp and clear... with 2 to 6 inches of fairly fresh snow.
Shortly after passing the turnoff for the DeRoux Campground... park (~3950') on the left side of the road... cross the road and start up the Iron Peak Trail... which wastes no time in reaching the Teanaway/Iron pass (6150').
From the pass we turned left and headed uphill on good boot-path... soon picking up a series of cairns that guided us through the cliffy section between 6200' and 6400'... taking us over to the east ridge and the easy scramble to the Teanaway Peak summit (6779').
Retracing our steps back to the Teanaway/Iron pass... we did the .75 mile ridge walk out to Iron Peak (6510').
If you only have time for one of these peaks, the views from Teanaway Peak are better than those from Iron Peak... 7.5 miles roundtrip, gaining 3189 feet of elevation.
GPS route and photos of our Teanaway Peak and Iron Peak hike.

You guys get to some cool places. Man those are some nice pics. What a spot.
I'm going to try to leave at 2 or 3am tonight, and get somewhere at daybreak. Ideally, I'd like to do Tuck and Robin or Daniel since I've never been able to get back there. However, I am open to some suggestions. I have never done Mt David either. I don't have any technical climbing experience, so I'll have to stay off heavy snowpack and glaciers since it must be heavily crevassed with all this sun so late in the year.
