Thanks for the positive comments everyone. Obviously, Babe recovered quite well from her malady but we fear that the whippets are warped forever wink.gif . We must recommend the summit tai chi, it does wonders for your outlook on life lol.gif .

Somehow you got videos up for this trip, but are behind in trips from a couple weeks ago.
What, you only want to see the videos that you are in?

Awesome report & pictures! up.gif I was up in the Golden Lakes area Tue-Wed. That is an interesting route up Worthington & Iron, I've wanted to do those peaks for a while. One of these days I'll get over there. Thanks for the beta!
We're waiting for your trip report, we're sure it's going to make us jealous. You're welcome for the beta, we know our trip reports are a little long winded compared to others so hearing comments like this is nice.

I'm surprised you had enough time for all the photography on a 17 mile day hike.
I have asked myself this same question when reading their trip reports and viewing their great photos.
Sometimes we feel that the hike and taking the photos is the easy part. Choosing the best pics is a whole 'nother production. Out of over 250 pics we narrowed down to 120 of the best. After we downloaded them to flickr we looked through them again and eliminated 30 more. Then we had to agonize over which ones to add to the trip report. Give us a day in the mountains any time over that!

So the whippets didn't make it to the top of Worthington? How do they handle it if you leave them behind?
If you listen closely while watching the "Summit of Mount Worthington" video you can hear Kiefer whining like crazy in the background.

Holy crap it's raining hard here today. The sky is all gloomy and it gets dark at 4:30. Hard to believe last week it was sunny, 70 degrees, and it got dark at 6:30. I was last week's weather back! bawl.gif bawl.gif bawl.gif

I think this picture shows some of your route from Buckhorn Col.

I like it. I may have to give it a try one of these days.
