After all these years of referring to it as "Little Navaho" when, how and why ????????? did it's name get changed to Freedom Pk.??????????
The summit register has three names on it already. Maybe one of our NWHiker dog posters can come up with another (note: Humpmyleg Peak is already taken).

A fuxk, why do I not give one?

I think Jasper & Zeus would get along great. Zeus showed Tokul how much he loves her on the way to Rockdale Ridge last week in just the same way. I don't think moosefish was impressed, but Tokul cuddled with Zeus all the way home: pee-pee mission accomplished!

Wow, GeoJasper, you found a lively one in Row. Hope you don't look like this by the time we meet you...

Kleet or anyone that knows, Is that the summit register that was placed by Fay Pullen or a replacement? I was on this peak whatever-it's-called July 17th and looked but did not find any register. confused.gif

Joey, I don't think my photo (taken in October 2004) is of the original register. I remember there weren't many names in it, but there were at least three folks from this site.

A fuxk, why do I not give one?

Kleet, Sorry I was confused. I assumed your register pic was from this year. In July of '04 two friends and I (Joseph-Chuck-Dick) signed the register that you photographed later that year. I recall that Rubberlegs had signed in, but there sure were not many entries. Too bad that register has apparently gone missing.

We looked briefly for the register when we were there last Saturday. Nothing in the obvious locations although we didn't place a high priority on searching for it as the weather was turning bad.

Like you Joey I did the loop from Stafford Ck. TH to Miller Pk Th, Iron Bear, Miller Pk., and on to Little Nav., and back to Stafford TH, last Summer. No Summit registers found. Must be a new NWhiker's thing as it seem's like they are trying to make their prominence known.

I'm late getting my pictures up and don't feel like writing a TR for a solo trip, but I was in the same area as you were this day, on Iron and Teanaway Peak. Like you I enjoyed the light show as the sun and clouds played tag all day. I even got a show of a rainbow that formed for just a few minutes in the valley.

The Iron Peak trail climbs up this valley from left to right. At the upper right is the Iron Peak pass and Teanaway Peak is lost in the clouds.

I recognize that tree. I think I marked it last year.
