Sensational! I'd never do it, but, "WOW!" Yukon222, that western night shot showing city lights....amazing....hope the tripod worked well...or did you freeze your fingers? I am all chilled and cold just looking at these photos! Many thanks for the terrific TR and pix. LIke I said, "Sensational!"
No tripod, SB. Just handheld in my hands for the 1" long exposure. Had planned on packing my tripod up there but the cold temps and limited setup space meant I didn't even bother pulling out my DSLR Gorilla Pod. I'll head up there again this Winter for some night scenes.
Hands got a little bit chilled but a splash of Yukon Jack did the trick.
