It's all a matter of taste. I live here because I too prefer the mountains of the Pacific Northwest. That doesn't mean that the mountains of the Northeast aren't awesome in their own right. Little people are always obsessed with "big". moon.gif Anyway, I'm really impressed with everyone's calenders. GeoTom - I suspect that if I created a calender it would be fairly similar to your for some strange reason... Just curious what it costs you guys to fire off a batch?

Jason, that's just marvelous. I like the way you've chosen the photos for each month too (e.g. T-shirts for June/July, crevasses for September, etc.) - good job. up.gif By the way, that February shot is possibly my favorite from all your photos.

Thanks all. It was fun putting it together. I plan on taking more photos in December and Marth though. I seriously had only a few from those months! Too busy enjoying the snow hockeygrin.gif I may have to spend a slight more time putting a real one together that i could get made up to have on the wall. That'd be pretty cool agree.gif .

I used to use Kinkos... down.gif down.gif Really unpredictable quality. Last year I used MPIX and was VERY happy with the results. They have a variety of templates and you can add borders, etc... It's all done online and their help desk really is helpful! As their advertising says....you can shoot it today, upload it and it will be in the mail tomorrow. up.gif up.gif up.gif I should have my 2009 collection picked out by the weekend.

Thanks all! RB...the stained glass is in a magnificent cathedral that we visited in Bucks County last week (just outside of Philadelphia). It's called the Bryn Athyn cathedral. I'll post some pics a little later...it's a photographers dream inside and out. Very inspirational spiritually as well.

Gil, very nice! Your first (January) photo, "shapes", is one of my all-time favorite NWHikers photos; I still remember it from when you posted it in the Picture of the Day thread. up.gif

Thanks, Gali. Ditto with your selection. There is so much wonderful photography on this site -- we really ought to do a nwhikers.net calendar to raise money for its operation.

Nancy - Those are great. I really like August - it has a "feel good" vibe to it. up.gif For Dec, I'd go with the Leavenworth lights. That's a nice, soft pic. up.gif
