Woe! Did anyone check their barometer recently? Mine is reading 29.10 and still falling. It is dead calm outside right now. Where is the wind?

The telemetry site for Crystal Mountain shows a max wind of 113 mph at 2:00 am in the morning today. Now it as showing a relatively calm 50 mph. The hill comment was for Malachai Constant. smile.gif

The barometer reading is down to 29.05 now. That is the lowest I have seen for a while. It is still falling.

I've kept an eye on it today. The non-digital one is almost off the scale. 28.08 on the digital one. Not much wind here either.

What's especially fun about sock puppets is that you can make each one unique and individual, so that they each have special characters. And they don't have to be human––animals and aliens are great possibilities

28.91 here, trend arrow looks like a Chrysler car sales graph of the last 5 years. If the pressure gets much lower I think we might get sucked up into space. paranoid.gif

Weird that there's hardly any wind. Forecast was for SSE changing to SSW winds 10-40 MPH on the ridgetops today in the central Cascades. There was hardly a breeze up there at Stevens Pass.

The big winds are going to be off the coast Tuesday morning - 50+ knots at 4 a.m.. It sounds like the worst for us was through this morning - we had 30 knot gusts this morning in the Everett area.

The barometric pressure is still reading 29.05 here. I don't think I have ever seen it stay this low for that long. There were some high tides this morning. It was over the dock at Lion's Field here in Bremerton and that is a first for me.

28.74 at 400ft in Shoreline. I "gained" 300 feet on Sunday over 4 hours near Blewett Pass.

Ha the bump of an old thread had me confused at first as I was reading down a bit until I finally realized most of the stuff was old! lol.gif Speaking of which I just heard the wind kick up and the lights flickered. I was actually out walking the dog about an hour ago and it wasn't too bad yet.
