Ken Burns has made a 8 part film for PBS on National Parks including many in Washington State which will air next fall. He will preview some of the film in Seattle next month. $5.00 donation.

Join KCTS 9 for a special evening with PBS filmmakers Ken Burns and Dayton Duncan as they preview and share the stories behind their latest documentary, "The National Parks: America's Best Idea." Filmed over the course of six years at some of nature's most spectacular locales - from Mt. Rainier to the Olympics, Yellowstone to the Grand Canyon this documentary is a story of the people who devoted themselves to the land they loved. Burns and Duncan will share previously unscreened portions of this documentary and tell the stories from beyond the screen at this special event.
Tickets are FREE and available through Brown Paper Tickets.
Suggested donation is $5 at the door. |

Thanks for the heads-up. The PBS series should be great and the Benaroya Hall presentation should be interesting.
