3 Mountains in 3 Days!
David and I headed to Idaho for the second time this season. Wrapped up the lift-served skiing with a bang. Silver Mountain had great snow, hidden treasures, and few people but only a glimmer of sun. It's amazing that this place does not get bigger crowds. That's OK, more for me. Then, it was over the road to Sandpoint for Day 2 at Schweitzer, which never fails to please. It was sun, broken clouds and a festive atmosphere for the end of the season. Back home on Saturday night. On Sunday, we gave in and zoomed up to Mission Ridge for a few hours on Closing Day. The place was busier than usual, but we ended the day with our traditional "throwing of the skis".

I always hated the close of ski season. I see that Bluewood (close to Dayton Wa & Walla Walla) has had almost as much snow as Brighton here in Utah. Of course, they always closed Bluewood at the end of spring break and sometimes the best skiing is after the closing date. That should be the same this year. Glad to see you get those final turns in.
