is there any way the site could add a feature similar to picasaweb where when you click on the thumbnail you can scroll back and forth using the arrow keys instead of having to click the next photo???

Are you talking about clicking on arrows that show up when you put your mouse cursor over the picture or actually using the arrows on your keyboard?

arrows on the keyboard. http://picasaweb.google.com/irons.mountains/Snowking -> click on a picture to see the semi-full size; then, use your arrows to scroll.

I think that would be pretty easy to do, although won't be as fast as picasa since we don't pre-load the previous/next pictures. The other thing you can do is just click on the slideshow timer option here to automatically display the pics.

true with the timer, the thing i don't care for is that it refreshes the page and always resets you back to the top of the page. with picasa, if you're scrolled down a bit, when the new picture loads, you're still at that same position. not a deal killer, but i do find that it's useful while at work and trying to be sekrit-ive.

My first thought was "Slideshow timer option? What the heck is that?" And low and behold, I found it. doh.gif How long have we had that thing, and I knew nothing? One thing that would make it more useful was if it resized the pictures to fit the window while it was engaged.

The slideshow feature has been there for ages. As far as resizing, it would conflict with the labeling feature since the labels don't shrink. I suppose we could resize if no labels are present.

OK, was bored tonight so figured I'd knock this one out. The left right buttons should now cycle the pictures. Will be disabled if you are adding or editing a label.
