I really tried to cut down the # of pics but with so much going on, well you'll get the picture.

Yes, the Llamas were a highlight...

One of the other stars of the weekend, Red Hen

Some of the canine attendees:

Fearless Leader of the farm:

Some pics from around Jenjen and Chubby Hubby's farm:

Fri evening recon of the Canyon Creek Rd. I had planned to stay up here somewhere Fri night but a later departure ruined my plans for camping out.

Hike to Damfino Lakes and attempt to find the Mt Excelsior summit

Dinner, a Bonfire and B-Day party/Quark's Sporkfest

Razz2sea...greats shots of fun times! I know what you mean, so here are a bunch more pics including the Saturday hike, the bonfire and some shots from our brief excursion to Heather Meadows and Nooksack Falls in the rain today.

In addition to sharing some great times with really great folks, you can see in the pictures that there was a serious love-fest going on with the critters present.  lol.gif

Hiking to Excelsior via Damfino Lakes:

Saturday night:

Tazz was spending alot of time bonding with critters...

Quark's Birthday Sporkfest celebration:

The Bonfire:

Sunday morning:

Here are some shots from our drive up to Heather Meadows and to Nooksack Falls on this foggy rainy morning. How appropriate for our first day of summer! hmmm.gif  cool.gif

Wow, good times.... cool.gif  I just got home. Daisy and I stayed up at Heather Meadows until 6 pm. We wandered around during dry spells, and napped in the camper during the downpours. Thanks, Jen and Dave, for the wonderful hospitality. BTW, Daisy's flying squirrel was in the van all along.  doh.gif

Doh! I *knew* my gear fit better in my trunk on the way home.

I'll get 'em from you sometime, somewhere. Sorry for leaving them behind.

No problems, buddy. Just paying forward kindness that has been extended to me in the past. wink.gif

Most important thing is that we all have a good time and all get home safely. It was great fun being along with you for your first snow trip. agree.gif

Thanks, DHM, and I hope to pay it forward one day in my time.

I'm still hoping someone will post an official trip report for our excursion, because Elvis got the all-time best-ever flower shot.
