Nice pans Nikon. I especially like the Fort Casey shot - cool view of my local peaks - too bad there isn't more water, and that pesky piling down there. What power tele did you use? Excellent Kerry Park shot too.

I was surprised at the perfect mountain line-up from that location too. I think there are workarounds for all those things you mentioned but that would have required me actually paying attention at the time!!! I'd have to look them up in the archives but I'm thinking the mountains were shot at 300mm.

If you tweak enough....you almost don't notice that the sky is totally blown out.

Some of these are really nice. I've never experimented with panoramas. So, how does one print them out and mount them on the walls? Is it easy, or do you have to have custom frames made?

GaliWalker, Regarding your framing question, I'd say it's a case by case basis. Sometimes you might find pre-made frames with oddball aspect ratios that magically match your own (or could be made to with low-impact cropping), but for the most part it'd be custom matting at least if not custom framing.

One more. This one covers roughly 300 degrees. Original is 52 MB, 30959 X 4023 pixels. I'm not sure how many I actually used to stitch, but the full sequence is 53 portrait images. Edit: Picasa hates me. There doesn't seem to be any way to provide a proper large version of these images.

Pretty easy. 1. Costco will print a 12"x36" print for $5. 2. Take that down to Aaron Bros. framing and have it dry mounted on 3/8" foam core for $18. 3. Hang it on the wall.

Thanks, DHM! That sounds pretty painless; I think I need to give this a try.
