Nope, I was crushed when I found they were gone last year. So sad. I've just been buying cheap powdered milk at Walmart. It's not the same, but it works in a pinch.

So I found something that might work. http://www.amazon.com/Nestle-Nido-Instant-Whole-12-6oz/dp/B00032B982 you can get it at WalMart in the Latino section.

Buy Nido

Buy Nido. It's powdered WHOLE milk and is delicious. Very creamy. http://www.mexgrocer.com/2575.html http://www.amazon.com/Nestle-Nido-Instant-Whole-12-6oz/dp/B00032B982 Milkman is a royal ripoff, as are other non-fat "milk" products. What's the point of buying "milk" after the cream has been skimmed off? The company will sell that cream elsewhere for a huge profit, while you drink milk colored water with nothing in it.

Here's a blog entry that we did awhile ago discussing powdered milk and eggs. My favorite milk powder is still Nature's First.

Organic Valley does have plenty of taste, even with being nonfat. On the other hand, Campgirl has the two good ones, that are full fat. Do realize though that 26% fat dry milk takes more time to dissolve than nonfat or low fat.

Skim milk, yum! Gotta love that Titanium Dioxide. Imagine, putting TiO2 - which is great as a sunscreen and as a paint - in milk and never telling anyone. I wonder what they put in milk powder? TiO2 in skim milk

It is used as a dye as well in many foods. Not that unusual overall. It is found even in yogurt dipped raisins.

sarbar, What you say is true and it is listed on the ingredients. Determining food additives is a complex branch of psychology. The purpose, typically, is to enhance appearance/taste/desirability without killing your customer base - or at least without the customers knowing that you're killing them. smile.gif Isn't it curious that all the other mammals on the planet undergo weaning from milk, but Man holds tight to the teat? smile.gif
