Hmmm. Looks like he was flying below the FAA 2000' AGL minimum requested altitude for a national park. Must have been on official government business eh?

How much closer to the stream bank is the hut than it used to be. Looks closer than I remember.

Interesting, that river really goes all over the place. Is that flood plane downstream or upstream from the chalet?
In regards to the river washing out the chalet it is my understanding that the channel was running closer to the chalet a couple of years ago but has now changed course and has moved away from the chalet some.
