That topo surprises me. I would've sworn the lakes were a short way in, and the rest of the hike was the long long part. And, yeah, we were a ways from the pass.

Hahaha Elvis, I spotted that flower on the way out and got quite the chuckle. Also that pile was there when I did my drive up there Fri night and looked a tad fresher then.
