The stills from Friday's return to the east bank of the Wallace River were not too good. Some of the videos were ......... interesting.
Up close and personal on The Flume - furthest downstream of the major falls on the South Fork Wallace River.

Nice shots Vernman. Is that Scenic Falls? I've never seen it at low water.
Here's my contribution for the day. This is the lowest of a series of small falls on Park Creek near Baker Lake. The falls are a little ways downstream of FR 1130. This drop looks like it's the tallest at about 25' and there was another 20-footer just above this that I couldn't get a good view of. I named it blueberry falls because there were a ton of the biggest wild blueberries I've ever seen right at the bottom of the falls.

Nice Tony. Of all the pics I've seen of Comet Falls, yours are the first I can remember seeing shot from down in the gorge, showing the whole series of falls. Very effective.

Note: yup...I loved it so much I returned and shot more waterfall pix. The latter have yet to reach Flickr or these pages. Heather Lake affords a grand setting for waterfalls, though most are truly seasonal affairs.
