Have already seen a few Sunrise TR of late but this is as much a thank you as a trip report. Last year I asked for ideas for fall color at Rainier for my non-hiker family members. Got some great ideas but then was rained out. So this year, I looked up the thread, consulted the forecast and off we went to Sunrise this morning to hike the Burroughs Trail. Beautiful area, gentle well maintained trails. Great for non hiker types to get out and enjoy the mountain.

Depends on how you look at it. There are three Burroughs and a little extra bump at the end which we were told some call the 4th Burrough by a Ranger. So we did the same.
