Perhaps a mildly offensive title for the hike (especially for those named Catherine I suppose) but accurate nonetheless.  The hike was sectioned off into multiple small groups with various start times/locations and went swiftly as the TH to Summit distance only tallied 1.3mi.  This left plenty of time up top to imbibe in the celebratory libations hauled up by many  drink.gif , as several folks, present company included, were making this the last TNAB of the season  bawl.gif.  Also there were some pretty fantastic views for such a quick climb and relatively small peak.

Names too numerous to list were in attendance, including a couple of TNAB newbies who found their way to the summit in time to witness the waning sunlight (and waning bottle of Yukon Jack) before heading down in timely fashion.  Just about all were present at the Pour House in NB afterward to discuss upcoming t-shirt design and devour some tasty grub!

I'll try my hand at listing the attendees on the hike, forgive any exclusions and be sure to post a reply if I forgot you...

Malachai Constant, ZeusDaddy, GoJo, WxMan, Zephyr, Schmidt Alti-Babe, GeoTom, Cmurph, Yukon222, Larry, Ewb, Recon, GQHiker, and a few others who I know I am forgetting (sorry) plus at least 2 more new folks who I didn't get a chance to chat much with!  Solid showing for all, and thanks for a great summer of evening hiking!

On a slight down note, we had one car broken into on FSR9070 at the Twin Lakes TH, so use this as a word of caution for those traveling to the area this weekend!  down.gif

Beautiful pix.

This is the last one?  I thought we were getting up the Ledges next week before the cookout. confused.gif

ETA: Oh, I see.  Some people will not be there next week.  Gotcha.  up.gif

Well, it's the last one for a few folks... unfortunately I'm one of those few folks, hence the  bawl.gif.  As far as I know, the plan is on for the Ledges BBQ next Thur night.  If something changes on my end I will be there though, but I'm tied up for now.

If that is the Mt. Catherine I am thinking of, it shouldn't be too far away from where another car was broken into.  down.gif
