Great idea, I loved that documentary. Beautiful photos everyone! (I'll skip Rainier, it's so well-covered already and I actually don't have any great photos online...)

back in 02 or 03 we did 8 western parks in a year but it was with film and i've never bothered to have my pix scanned .. the best i can do now are parks in wa, except for this one in yosmite

For me, Zion, without a doubt (though I still haven't been to Capitol Reef).

Very interesting. I've only been to Zion (and then only for a day trip), and one of the responses from someone else who had also visited was that the place was like Disneyland with all the shuttles and hordes.

Part of the NPS, low profile and close to home. I'm sure others have better photos. I've never managed a visit on a "nice" day.

Managed to make it six National Parks this year so far, with three new ones (and possibly another new one soon). Here are a couple of photos from Shenandoah NP, from my first ever visit yesterday:
