Went for a hike this weekend.
Indeed it is
Decided to spend the first night on a summit for good views.
J'arrive
It was a bit chilly.
Ice
This made up for it, though.
Fall colors and clouds Sunset Yikes! Flamey sunrise Sunrise
Eventually had to leave.
I can't believe I live here.

Yana is queen of the summit bivies.
Nice job getting the sunset/sunrise exposures to come out.
Neat how the alpenglow highlights the highest peaks. (Only the T100 peaks are lit up) I labeled the ones I could identify.

Awesome pics, Yana. I didn't get anything even close those; despite lugging the boat anchor and tripod up there. Very nice!

Judging by the spectacle I witnessed, I am beginning to think it was somewhere on Mars.
Twisp Mountain - but it doesn't really matter where it was. More of a right place/right time sort of thing.
