I only had a couple hours on Sunday so I made a quick trip to photograph at Granite Falls.

That's a very misleading subject title, Jim. You really need to throw in a waterfall pic, as an excuse for the autumn art. --------------Something lost behind the ranges. Lost and waiting for you....... Go and find it. Go!

Sorry Scrooge, but the falls were running high with dirty water and weren't very photogenic. I only took one shot of them and it was mediocre. --------------jimdockery.com

Jim
Funny, i grew up in GF, and i always regarded the falls as an eye sore. That fish ladder is jarring to the eye in that area. Never understood why it's ever been considered an attraction. Well, now that i have moved back into town, i have begun to frequent that spot for a quick morning walk. Now i'm beginning to see things down there other than the fish ladder.
Thanks for capturing it.

And here I thought if you put one of those fancy frames around any pic it would look good...
Thanks for sharing your pics with the bright foliage on such a dreary day as it is today.

In the third picture, it looks like granite could be falling. --------------Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

That's unfair to the falls. With a little slow motion and and music they look great. Honestly, I still like stopping by there just to feel like I'm really in Granite FALLS and not Granite Intersection.

Really nice stuff , Jim. About as good as one could portray that area. The colors are popping right now. -------------- Trevor Anderson Photography
