Our crew, along with a handful of other BC skiers, found great powder skiing on the backside of Cowboy Mountain at Stevens Pass yesterday. After looking at the web cams earlier in the week I didn't think it was possible, but Jeff talked me into going and offered to loan me some rock skis. Thanks man, it sure beat chores around the house (and I only scraped once)!

Awesome. My skis are waxed and tuned and ready to roll. I wish I was heading up to Baker Thursday but I have a sales presentation that I can't bail on. I'll just have to get me some BC freshies...

Great shots, I was wondering how Stevens was.

No pits dug, but the snow seemed quite stable until the end of the day when a bit of sun finally hit the slope. As we made our last turns the top few inches started balling up and sluffing a bit. Didn't see anyone over on Heather, but we spent most of the day out of sight behind Cowboy. My favorite runs over there won't come into shape for a while - either too many big rocks, or too much alder at the bottom, I hope it keeps dumping to fill it in!

Way to go Jim! Great photography as always. Now I want to go there! Perhaps I should save up for a bus pass for the year.
