Another Goat Lake run. We did the lower Elliot trail on the way to Goat lake, and took the upper trail on the way back. It was a great day for a great hike. The trees were a bit drippy with rain, but we were virtually dry the entire trip. The lake was magnificent. It was cold up there, but nothing a little bit of down, gloves and a hat couldn't fix! It took us 2 1/2 hours to go up, and 2 hours 10 minutes to come back down. All in all, it was a wonderful dayhike! Enjoy the pix.
He was literally 5 feet away as we ate our lunch at the lake!
He probably hung around for a good 5-6 minutes, before being scared off by the folks coming in to the lake behind us.
