A young man who I met through another Hiking friend needs a decent backpack, he works but does not have much money, so free or cheap would be awesome. Best type would probably be a medium capacity pack, large enough for a 1-3 trip. We both live in Marysville. He has not joined the site yet, but I think he will soon.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.

Free to a good home: 60 cm Black Diamond Raven ice axe w/ grip. It's got a few scratches (it's been up 6 volcanoes), but has lots of life left.

I have a pair of insulated leather Merrill Womens size 7.5 mountaineering boots. They are in great shape. Served me well on Adams, St Helens, Rainier and other snow climbs.

Jeff, I'd be interested in some of them, any of the compression sacks big enough for a sleeping bag?
