Great TR! Welcome to the big wide world, Carmen and Clara!

A big double congrats from a fellow parent of twins. Hold on, it's a wild, difficult, wonderful ride.

What a great trip report, although I'm sure you know the trip has only just begun so this is incomplete!
Congratulations on the arrival of your new hiking partners!

As a father of a 3.5 month old baby girl, a big congrats to you!!! As sunk as I am over one little girl, you, sir are completely and totally ruined. Ruined in the best way imaginable. They are adorable and your life will never be the same again! Get a couple of Ergos and you'll be ready to take them hiking sooner than you think. Flora had her first hike at 3 weeks!
Again congrats! Wonderful names! My little Flora is the best thing that ever happened to me and I'm sure Carmen and Clara will be the same for you!

Congrats! Great TR.
From the title I assumed that you had actually climbed the outside of UW Medical Center...

Congrats and nice choice on the names.
I had the luxury of putting one on the front and one on the back, but you might be interested in this.

I gotta say that I am overwhelmed by the comments here. This is an amazing community. Thanks!
Now I have a new list of things to do:
1. Thank moosefish for letting us steal his kids’ names.
(Note to self: Use moosefish and chris TRs for inspiration)
2. Ask Sadie’s Driver for babysitting help (4-legged hikers are always welcome at our house!)
3. Actually climb the outside of the UW Medical Center
4. Avoid arrest for climbing the outside of the UW Medical Center
5. Buy an Ergo, or two.
6. Take kids to the mountains early and often, per Hikingqueen.
7. Speed dial bonobo for crisis advice.
8. Keep in shape so I can keep up with Randy, donb, and dicey
(nah, I could never keep up with dicey).
9. Actually meet Yet one of these days (I've heard something about brownies, too).

If you ever need anything or just want to chat, feel free to pm me. I know there are sometimes things that come up and you want another parent of twins to bounce it off - I'm always happy to lend an ear to you or your sweetie.
However, I'll be no help at all when it comes to scaling the UW Med center -you'll have to sign someone else up for that one!
