$10 for a large Papa John's pizza (up to 7 toppings).  What you gonna order?

Touron is a nougat of Arabic origin made with almonds and honey or sugar, without which it would just not be Christmas in Spain.

A difficult question. I'd have to create my own:

olives, mushrooms (regular and portabella), onions, tomatoes, spinach... oh, and extra cheese.  hungry.gif

That's a good deal though I prefer the Extra Large 4 topping pizza for an extra $1.99. Pepperoni, Spicy Sausage, Jalapenos and Mushrooms please. Thanks.

Is Papa John's considered a pizzeria out there? Or by "favorite" did you mean a pizza at an amazing cost?

I personally like Papa John's pizza. Obviously they don't have a lot of choice for toppings as compared to some places, but I like their stuff and the price is good. I don't particularly want to spend exorbitant amounts of money for pizza. That's kind of the point of pizza. I've yet to find pizza that is good enough to warrant paying a high price.

Speaking of inexpensive pizza, COSTCO has giant pizzas (both take and bake and baked for you) for $10. The options are pretty limited, though.

We're talkin' pizza here!  Order it from some overpriced yuppie joint if you want.  7 toppings.  Can't decide?  Not a meat eater?  Wife doesn't like onions?  You can always do half and half. hockeygrin.gif

If you just want cheap, Little Caesars has pizzas for $5. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

haha, gotcha. I just mean that there are some mean pies in Chicago -- I'm not the biggest fan of deep dish, but once in a while, it's a scrumptious meal. Hits the spot. (Papa John's won't do it for me -- for a pizza craving, yes, but for the seriousness of a good pie, no.) It's not so much a yuppie thing as much as it is a Chicago thing. biggrin.gif

I think in the King county area, Shakey's is my favorite.  Also dig the Northlake and down in Vancouver WA, Smokey's pizza.

I order mine thin crust, half the sauce and half the cheese for a lower sodium pie. Works well. Papa John's online ordering makes that easy - and we can have different toppings on each side.

Works for me!

Sure Papa John's isn't as good as some upscale places or even some mid-level places. I like Pagliacci or Zeek's or even Round Table a lot more than Papa John's. Or Pizzeria Uno or the like if you are talking Chicago style. But those places also charge like $25-$30 for one XL so more than twice as much dinero. Price matters and so Papa John's is probably the best value if not the best pizza IMO at their current deal.

I dabbled in Little Caesar's in my youth but I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but the poor college student types.

Might have to try Domino's "new" pizza just to confirm what I already know without tasting it which is that it will probably suck.
