Just after sunset at Mount Rainier, from Tipsoo Lake.
Played with long exposure a bit, setting the exposure to 15 seconds at the widest angle and zooming in slowly while the shot was being taken.

I didn't do anything artsy to these, but the subject is the Houston Art Car Parade. It was the most interesting thing I've seen in my 20+ years of visiting my in-laws in TX. I also worked up a good sweat- it's ok to walk in the parade route, so I just kept cruising and shooting. Many "cars" had live bands, the art ranged from funky to futuristic, and the vibe was mello and fun.
