A few of us are heading into http://www.aaronswaterfallworld.com/lavadividefalls.htm on Saturday the 20th. The weather is supposed to be great. It's a bushwhack of about 3/4 of a mile each way along Park Creek then another 1/4 up the side stream to the base of the falls. A couple years ago when we went in we stopped there. This time we're going to climb up the woods along the lower tier to get a close up view of the upper section (which might be 300' tall!).
After that trip we should have time to explore some more. I figured I'd stick this up here in case any of the other waterfall gang is looking for something to do.
150-200' tall bottom section
Cross valley view of the huge upper section (our main goal for Sat.)

I think we're meeting at the National Park Headquarters in Sedro-Woolley. Does 9 AM work? So far it's myself and Sorefeet. Obi Tony Kenobi might go as well and I'm working on my buddy Justin. We want to check out a probable waterfall on Anderson Creek across the lake if we have time afterwards.
Dang. That's short enough so I could probably handle it, but I've got a prior commitment.
Do me a favor. Take a few snapshots, so I can see what the waterfalls look like.
Something lost behind the ranges. Lost and waiting for you....... Go and find it. Go!

Should be nice and sunny and the falls face south so they'll be well lit up. You might just get your wish Scrooge.
