kleet, Birds with a sense of humor, I Love it. Great capture and thanks for sharing. I spooked this one into the river, but managed to get a shot off before it drifted down stream.

Years ago we stumbled upon this little fawn while doing cross-country. We did not see Mama around. We discretely took a picture from the distance and did not disturb this little cutie. It was really a treat to see the fawn.

Kite, your photo reminded me of one I took in February of a tiny crab on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta. I can't see anything in your picture... or was the point to capture the DOF? Either way, it's a nice relaxing photo that brought me back to some fun memories smile.gif
Maybe not awesome by most photographer's standards but I'm still a bit of a rookie...

duckyryan, nice capture on the crab I think its a very small flounder, it was just swimming along in about 1/2" of water, you could see it better when it was moving.

On June 26th 2002 I came across a bear cub stuck inside a talus cave just below the lookout on Mt. Pilchuck. I managed to get the cub to back itself out and be free again.

Here's a link to a slide show of some of the images I took that day. Here's the still images at Webshots.
OMG Man! That must have been an orgasmic experience. I just flipped through the whole set. That's definitely one of those experiences that stays with you throughout life and you know it's significant the moment it's happening. Wow!!! up.gif

OMG! This is the best! I just love it!

Take risks not to escape life, but to prevent life from escaping I may not have anyone rocking my world right now but, I don't have anyone messing it up either.

i wouldn't say this is awesome .. but it makes me smile every time is see it .. this guy was following us around all afternoon .. we were up on the anderson moraine in the olys .. it was hot .. the flies were tormenting him .. when we stopped he stopped ... this time he decided to lie down in the snow to cool off while he waited ..

we finally had to ditch him by hiding .. he had followed us all the way back down to anderson pass on our way back to honeymoon meadows

Lucky dragon fly shot
Browsed for quite a while - Here's a first post - Lucky shot while canoeing last summer.
Out canoeing when a couple of dragonflies started playing tag. Snapped a bunch with the P&S and got lucky.

Geese photo from the car heading north on hwy 57 just south of Nordman Idaho.

Go placidly amid the noise and waste, and remember what comfort there may be in owning a piece thereof.
