From our recent trip to Wyoming. All hand held zoom shots, no macros:
 STRUT: Greater Sage Grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) with badass Shaka Zulu tat  Pika (Ochotona princeps), Cirque of the Towers  Six pointer, Grand Teton NP  Flame skimmer (Libellula saturata), Yellowstone NP  "Come closer, little friend" Horsefly (Hybomitra lasiophthalma), Yellowstone NP  Cleared for landing: White tail (Plathemis lydia), Yellowstone NP  An old dog teaches a young dog new tricks on the drive to the Big Sandy TH

That's not a bee. I think it's a hoverfly. But its definitely not a bee.

Mike - Amazing whale action shot! 
Well, it's been just over a year since we've seen a bobcat in our backyard but today at noon while we were sitting on the deck for lunch there he was. By the time I went in the house to get the camera he was already sauntering away. Did snag these shots before he ducked into the woods. No time to fine tune the exposure and hand held ...
