I picked up ADrewski from Colman Dock and headed east from there. I had hoped to do a "better" hike but I had to stay close to home and cell range since my Mother is in the hospital back home in Michigan.
On our way out I-90 I got pulled over for speeding he clocked me at 75 in a 60.......$144 ticket.
Anyway, I didn't take many pictures and most didn't turn out worth a darn...... I did make a video though, so I hope you all enjoy it.

Wow there really is no snow up there! I like the idea of the 3-4 minute video. Good job on that.
Yea I learned after getting a $100 something+ ticket on Highway 18 last year coming back from Tiger Mountain that the cruise control can be your best friend!
Anywhere between Eastgate and North Bend can be bad news for speed traps. Watch out on highway 18 as well if you go that way. For me 18 is the back/quicker way to I-90 so....
Bummer about the ticket and not getting to mowich also, your mom. At least you got out, I really like that side of rattlesnake. Cool video, very relaxing music.
What exactly is a "free fire zone?" Do they give away fire?

The trail isn't the most scenic, it's still a pretty good hike. They've put up a black box video camera at the base of the antenna at the East Peak to deter people from climbing it. I found a pair of men's REI gloves at Grand Prospect. And, it started to rain as we left the TH. Awesome.
