Sunset on Mt. Baker from Skyline Divide. My first attempts with the time-lapse app on my new A7RII - stars didn't come out, but this one is fine. Now I need to figure out how to do 4K, then zoom and pan through it.

A compilation of time lapses I took on a recent backpacking trip to Pete and Spectacle Lakes. I continue to be impressed by my Rokinon fisheye lens, its wonderfully sharp compared to my kit lens, its the perfect for timelapses, and the crazy wide angles it produces can make almost any scene interesting!

I could just make out a glow behind Shuksan with the naked eye, but the camera revealed quite an aurora show.

Here's a bunch of timelapses I took in the Heather Meadows region near Mt. Baker. I was just learning how to use the timelapse function in Magic Lantern on the Canon 60D at the time, so I had a lot of footage that turned out to be unsalvagable. It was really difficult to edit, and I was so unhappy with the original video I created that it took until now for me to get around to going back and completely rework it! Anyway, I'm glad I was finally able to apply a years worth of experience fiddling around in Adobe Premier in order to get this video uploaded.

I wasn't expecting clouds to move in when I was doing the timelapse, but the clouds gives it an interesting touch at the end.
