So I thought I'd check out the daffodils today and hit a hike up that way. I usually catch the daffodils when they are totally spent and tulips are in full bloom. Today I knew I was early, but it was still nice to see some blooms and have NO crowds. I had Roozen Gardens all to myself. I think they usually charge here? But not today. One field of red tulips is in bloom so that was cool.

I spent an hour touring around La Conner and then spur of the moment picked Cedar & Pine Lakes to hike.

Beautiful flowers, nice to see how things are shaping up in the fields. I thought of you while I was in rainier last weekend -did a little snoeswoeing at paradise, then a couple of miles on Kautz creek. Can't wait to get down there again, next target is Paul Peak trail. Have fun tomorrow - the weather is going to be great the next couple of days.

A guy told me a story about working in a store near the Woodstock festival. A fella comes walking in naked, except one shoe. The clerk says 'Hey, you lost a shoe.' Fella says 'No man, I found one!' ETA: Nice pictures!
