This was mentioned in another thread, I think by other nwhikers fans, but since it really needs its own thread to properly bestow the appropriate honor...cough, cough....ABBA was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Monday, March 15, 2010 by the Bee Gees.

AMEN!!! Once upon a time, I was a good husband and took my wife to Mama Mia. I got angrier with each progressing craptastic tune. Somehow I missed the memo that this was just some worst-of schtick.
My complaint is not so much that ABBA got in. They are just an innocuous europop group but that the following were left out so they could get in.

It apparently isn't really the rock and roll hall of fame based on who's getting in. I guess you could loosely call it the music hall of fame.
ABBA has about as much to do with rock and roll as Pee Wee Herman. Now if you had a Top 40 or pop hall of fame well they did sell a lot of records...
