Has anyone been up the Sherpa Glacier on Stuart? Looking to find some first hand beta.

What did you need to know? If you're looking for a good route up Stuart from the North, the Ice Cliff Glacier is a better route. The Sherpa Glacier makes a pretty good descent this time of year.

Haha no problem Tazz
Tom-That route seems a bit more technical (no alpine rack, no second ice tool) than what we are wanting to do. Do you have insider tips? Anything thats not on SummitPost would be great.

Sergio has a good TR for the Ice Cliff Glacier, and there is a bit in there about the Sherpa Glacier (which they descended).
The Sherpa Glacier is a snow climb (to ~45 degrees). There are no difficulties other than moderately steep snow. From the top of the gully, you are basically at the top of the Cascadian Couloir. You would descend the same way (face-in downclimbing most likely).
Another good choice in the area would be the NE Gully on Argonaut Peak.

The Ice Cliff Glacier route seemed a little beyond my skill level, I was the one that told Collin about the Sherpa Glacier route because it seemed like a decent route. So I'm guessing is it easy to follow?
