As a climbing friend of Luke Gullberg, who was killed in December while climbing Mt. Hood, I've been wanting to do a tribute climb for him.
I wouldn't mind finding 1-2 partners to ascend via the Leuthold's Couloir route to the summit on the weekend of April 10/11. (That's somewhat flexible, depending on weather, etc.). Descent would be the old chute.
The route is a little tougher than the normal Hogsback route. If you'd like to join me (older and slower) and have some glacier experience, please contact me.
My original date was weekend of April 3/4, but between what looks like unstable weather patterns moving in and Easter weekend, I thought I'd put if off a week.
