What is your favorite no-cook backpacking food?
Rules:
Only one answer per person. Yes, really. Just one.
Multiple ingredients allowed.
Requirement for addition of hot or cold water is acceptable.
Multiple ingredients allowed.
Does not have to be healthy.
One entry per contestant.
Rules subject to change. Why? Because I said so.
Keep it simple folks. Resist the urge to send links to your recipe blog or pontificate on the benefits of eating a certain way on trail. This is just meant to be fun, lite and perhaps even educational and interesting. Thanks for playing!

Trader Joe's Granola and the 3 Berries muesli, plus whole powdered milk (Peak or Nido), plus lots of extra dehydrated berries. And Starbucks Via Italian Roast. Yup, I'm a breakfast gal.

Bag of sandwiches, prepared at TH- usually sandwich thins with mustard and cheese. best with several varieties of cheese layered. Sometimes with meat product, but then I have to eat all eight the first day. Usually last thru dinner of the first day so I don't rip into the real food bag until sometime on day 2.

Triscuits w/ string cheese or summer sausage.
I use a large external-frame pack which gives me more room than most of you, for stuff like Triscuits.

SusanHikes, I like your avatar
My favorite backpacking meal is dehydrated home-made spaghetti with dehydrated green beans. Just add hot water and stuff into cozy for 20 minutes.

First night: Cold Pizza reheated in a fry pan, with a canned micro chilled in the snow or a creek to wash it down. The pizza must be a cheese, meat, and garlic loaded Cardiac Arrest Special!
OOPS! Missed the no-cook part.
OK, just cold Cardiac Arrest Pizza und ein Bier!
