When you click on 'Members' above it pulls them up by registration date. There is a user name column. You can drop it down to narrow the names to the first letter, ie A, B, C... It can be frustrating at times. I tried to find 'Angry Hiker', only to finally figure out he is 'The Angry Hiker'. (He never answers my pleas for attention BTW)

Magellan is correct. Just click on the drop down to limit results to the first letter of the member's name, that should give you everything on one page, then you can use your browser's search feature (ctrl+f in firefox) to find the text on the page you are looking for. FWIW, I don't see a Troy and mtn sun is actually "mntsun".

It would be cool if we had the option of "contains" instead of just "begins with" in our member searches. Then you could find "angry hiker" without the "The". Yes, I know we don't really search for member names, there is just a list which we can re-order by various parameters. But since it goes by the initial letters of the name, it is the equivalent of a "begins with" search.

That's what the search feature is for. wink.gif Just go to search, enter *angry* in the search for author field and tell it to display results as posts.
