argh..
"Do you know how much your backpack weighs? To the gram?" I weighed my pack once before a 12 day mosey meander through the Wind River Mountains. Decided then and there I did not have to do that again.

I love the smell of deet in the morning. The smell, you know that deet smell, the whole mountain. Smelled like... victory.

Too much work for me. I never pay attention to gear. Just grab some stuff I have laying in a pile in the middle of my living room, shove it in a pack and head out the door - but sometimes that system doesn't work very well. I have to admit it.
