Awesome TR and photos. I hope to be heading there soon.

How was that bit at the end? Any moats or sno-bergschrunds to watch out for?
no moats, no 'schrunds. for someone with a lot of experience, this is a walkup. the bit at the end, exposed class 2, a little dirty, but nothing that caused us a second thought. that said, you should note jb and iron are comfortable in the alpine. sorry for the late reply. both iron and i have been away on climbing trips. :>) ps - we were greatly helped by the awesome drawing from the amazing book rambling and scrambling up.gif up.gif
