We climbed The Matterhorn yesterday, no one else at Ice Lake, my butt is still sore from kicking myself for leaving the camera in the car, cheers smile.gif

There were two small patches on the trail to the north of the lake. One steep patch at about 9400' on the summit route. Other than that every thing was easily walkable. The bridge across the river is unsuitable for stock but easily done by hikers 6 abreast. That keeps out horses for the time being as the river looks like the Icicle in flood.
